What is Rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty, commonly referred to as a nose job, is a surgical procedure designed to reshape the nose and enhance your appearance. Due to the nose being a defining facial feature, nose jobs are one of the most common facial plastic surgery procedures requested by patients.
Nose jobs may also enhance your nasal function and improve your health.

What to Expect from Rhinoplasty
Before beginning a nose job, patients will be administered anesthesia and put comfortably to sleep. On average, a nose job procedure will take between one and three hours.
Patients should have an adult ready to drive them home to begin recovery as this is an outpatient procedure.
Most people will begin to get back to normal seven to ten days after surgery, but strenuous activities should be avoided for six to eight weeks. Patients must limit sun exposure during the recovery phase for about eight weeks.
The longevity of results will depend on many factors and will vary between patients. You can typically expect results that will last a long time.
Please remember that these are general guidelines and some people may need less or more time for a full recovery. You should work directly with the plastic surgeon who completed your procedure for specific instructions.
